New Delhi: Honda Cars India has refreshed its popular Elevate SUV with new design updates and feature additions ahead of the festive season. The update brings cosmetic enhancements inside and out, aimed at keeping the mid-size SUV competitive in one of the fastest-growing segments in India.
What’s New on the Outside?
The Elevate now offers a new ‘Alpha-Bold Plus Grille’. Unlike the earlier floating horizontal pattern, the new grille adopts a vertical 9-slat design with a bold chrome surround. This will be available as an optional accessory across all trims, except for the Signature Black Edition, where it comes as standard.
Additionally, Honda has introduced a Crystal Black Pearl paint option, previously exclusive to the Black Edition. The shade is now available across all trims except the base SV petrol-manual, priced at an additional ₹8,000, similar to the premium Obsidian Blue Pearl and Platinum White Pearl finishes.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the top-spec ZX variants now feature a new ‘Ivory’ theme with white leatherette upholstery and soft-touch dashboard and door liners. With this, buyers can now choose from three interior schemes: Tan, Black, and Ivory.
The V and VX trims have also been updated — their shadow beige fabric upholstery has been replaced with black fabric seats paired with white dashboard and door inserts. Meanwhile, the Signature Black Edition now comes with 7-color ambient lighting as standard.
Features and Powertrain
Premium features like a 360-degree camera and 7-color ambient lighting continue to remain optional on the ZX trims.
Mechanically, there are no changes. The Elevate continues with its 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 121 hp and 145 Nm of torque, mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox.
The SUV continues to be priced from ₹11.91 lakh (ex-showroom), offering a refreshed look without any increase in base pricing.
Why It Matters
With mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara dominating the market, Honda’s latest update is designed to enhance the Elevate’s appeal while providing buyers with more personalization options.
