Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare announces the release schedule and important deadline under Maharashtra’s flagship women empowerment scheme.
There’s good news for beneficiaries of Maharashtra’s Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, the state government’s women empowerment initiative. Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare has announced that the disbursement of the October installment under the scheme will begin on November 5, 2025. However, she has also issued a crucial reminder — all beneficiaries must complete their e-KYC verification by November 18 to continue receiving payments without interruption.
October Installment Begins November 5
Minister Tatkare confirmed that the government will start crediting the October honorarium funds directly into the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible women starting November 5.
“The distribution process for the October installment under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will begin tomorrow. Soon, all eligible beneficiaries will receive the honorarium amount directly in their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts,” she said.
Tatkare emphasized that the scheme represents an “unbroken revolution in women’s empowerment,” powered by the trust and participation of women across Maharashtra.
e-KYC Mandatory by November 18
Highlighting the importance of maintaining eligibility, the minister urged all registered beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC process before November 18. Those who fail to do so may face suspension of future payments.
“To ensure that this empowerment journey continues seamlessly, the government has made e-KYC available on the official website. All ‘Ladki Bahin’ beneficiaries are requested to complete the e-KYC process before November 18,” Tatkare appealed.
Step-by-Step e-KYC Process
Beneficiaries can complete e-KYC by following these steps:
- Visit the official website of the scheme (https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in).
- Click on the ‘E-KYC’ banner on the homepage.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha code displayed on the screen.
- Provide consent for Aadhaar verification and click ‘Send OTP’.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click ‘Submit’.
- Select the applicable category, tick the required declarations, and click ‘Submit’ again.
- You will receive a confirmation message stating, “Success – Your e-KYC verification has been successfully completed.”
Important Reminder for Beneficiaries
Women who have not yet completed their e-KYC are urged to do so immediately. Failure to verify by November 18 may result in suspension of benefits from upcoming installments.
The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana continues to be one of Maharashtra’s most impactful welfare initiatives, offering direct financial assistance to eligible women to promote self-reliance and empowerment across the state.
Beneficiaries are advised to complete the e-KYC process promptly to ensure uninterrupted receipt of their honorarium.
