Remote jobs in Dubai are quickly becoming a top choice for professionals looking to work from anywhere — and now, Airbnb is making that dream even more accessible.
Ever imagined living and working remotely in the sunny city of Dubai? You’re not alone.
Earlier this year, Airbnb launched its “Live and Work Anywhere” initiative to identify the world’s most remote-worker-friendly destinations. Dubai earned a spot among the top 20 locations globally, thanks to its infrastructure, lifestyle, and openness to digital nomads.
Building on that momentum, Airbnb partnered with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) to introduce the Dubai Remote Working Hub — a dedicated, one-stop platform designed specifically for remote workers.
The new hub offers curated inspiration for long-term neighborhood stays, along with clear and practical information on entry requirements and visa regulations for anyone planning to live and work in Dubai.
As part of the Live and Work Anywhere program, Airbnb and DET will actively promote Dubai to remote professionals seeking accommodation, guidance, and support for extended stays in the city.
Dubai has positioned itself as a global leader in enabling remote work. The goal is simple: make the city more accessible so professionals can enjoy the freedom to work while traveling.
With world-class job opportunities, fine dining, pristine beaches, theme parks, and rich cultural experiences, Dubai continues to attract talent from across the globe.

Remote jobs in Dubai: Why wouldn’t you want to live here?
To support the growing remote workforce, Airbnb and DET have teamed up to create a centralized working hub that helps professionals relocate smoothly to the emirate.
Now live, the portal allows users to browse long-term local listings and access essential information about visa policies and entry requirements — all in one place.
According to DET, the remote working hub is designed to serve as a complete support system for professionals considering Dubai as their remote work base.
This move follows the UAE’s launch of a one-year digital nomad visa in March 2021. Under this visa, professionals can live and work in the UAE even if their employer has no physical presence in the country.
The timing aligned with the Covid-19 pandemic, as the UAE began easing visa requirements to attract global talent and long-term visitors.
The digital nomad visa allows professionals to enter the UAE at their own expense and work remotely while complying with the visa’s specific terms and conditions.
Earlier this year, Airbnb again ranked Dubai among the top 20 remote work destinations worldwide. Through the remote working hub, Airbnb and DET will continue promoting Dubai to remote workers seeking accommodation and guidance for longer stays.
Demand for long-term stays in the UAE has surged following recent policy changes. According to Airbnb data, searches for long-term solo international stays in the UAE increased by more than 288% in the first three months of 2022 compared to 2019 — a clear sign that remote workers are increasingly choosing Dubai as their base.
