Toyota Festive Month Sales Oct 2025

Toyota has had a blockbuster festive season this year! The Japanese automaker reported its highest-ever monthly sales in India, crossing the 40,000-unit mark in October 2025. With strong festival demand, new special editions, and tax benefits boosting buyer sentiment, Toyota’s showrooms were buzzing all month long.

Toyota’s Big October: Over 42,000 Units Sold

According to official data, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold 40,257 units in the domestic market and exported 2,635 units, bringing total sales to 42,892 units in October 2025.

That’s a massive 39% year-on-year (YoY) growth, compared to 30,845 units sold in October 2024. Even the month-on-month growth was impressive — up 38% from 31,091 units in September 2025.

For Toyota, this marks one of the strongest festive performances in recent years. The combination of new product launches, special editions, and a GST rate cut helped the brand achieve stellar growth.

Festive Demand and GST Cut Drove Sales Surge

The 2025 festive season was clearly a game-changer for the Indian car industry, and Toyota was among the biggest winners. Two major factors fueled this growth:

First, high festive demand saw buyers rushing to showrooms ahead of Dussehra and Diwali. Second, the recent reduction in GST rates on select vehicle categories made Toyota’s offerings even more attractive for new car buyers.

The company’s new launches — including special edition models — also created a big buzz across dealerships.

Special Edition Models Added Spark

Toyota introduced two exciting limited editions in October — the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition.

Both these models received a strong response, thanks to their unique styling packages and exclusive features. The Fortuner Leader Edition, in particular, drew buyers looking for a premium SUV experience during the festive period.

Bookings for both special editions are open across all authorized Toyota dealerships, with deliveries already underway.

Toyota Expands into Pre-Owned Market

In a move to strengthen its footprint in India’s used car space, Toyota also launched a new pre-owned vehicle outlet in Chandigarh last month.

The company aims to provide certified used cars with Toyota’s trusted service quality, ensuring customers can buy and sell vehicles with complete peace of mind.

This step aligns with Toyota’s long-term strategy to offer value across the vehicle ownership cycle — from new car purchases to resale.

Big Plans Ahead: 15 New Models by 2030

Toyota isn’t slowing down anytime soon. The company has ambitious expansion plans for India and is working on 15 new models by 2030.

These will include new SUVs, updated versions of existing cars, an affordable pick-up truck, and several Suzuki-sourced vehicles as part of the Toyota-Suzuki partnership.

This diverse line-up will cater to both urban and rural markets, ensuring Toyota stays competitive across price ranges and powertrains.

Land Cruiser FJ and New Factory Plans

Adding to the excitement, Toyota recently showcased the Land Cruiser FJ at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The compact off-roader, which will be the most affordable model in the Land Cruiser range, is confirmed for India with a launch expected by 2028.

To support this growing product portfolio, Toyota will also expand its Bidadi manufacturing facility and build a brand-new plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra.

Toyota’s Outlook: Confidence and Customer Trust

Speaking about the brand’s strong festive performance, Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said:

“Our growth stands as a testament to the seamless teamwork across our operations and our unwavering focus on customer satisfaction. The positive economic environment and GST reforms have boosted market confidence. As a result, we’ve seen a sharp increase in enquiries and bookings.”

Wadhwa added that Toyota’s customer-first approach and focus on reliable service continue to drive its success in India.

The Road Ahead

After this record-breaking October, Toyota’s momentum looks unstoppable. With new launches lined up, dealership expansion, and investment in future-ready facilities, the brand is clearly preparing for its next big leap in India.

From affordable hybrids to luxury SUVs, Toyota’s strategy seems simple yet powerful — offer quality, innovation, and trust. And judging by these numbers, it’s working brilliantly.
