Maruti Suzuki India has announced major price reductions across its car lineup, with benefits of up to ₹1.30 lakh under the revised GST structure. The move follows the decisions made during the 56th GST Council Meeting (held on September 3, 2025), chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Alongside the GST revision, Maruti Suzuki is also offering additional discounts, making several of its popular models more affordable. The new prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025, and will remain valid till December 2025.
Why the Price Cut?
The Finance Ministry’s new GST rules provide significant relief for small-segment cars. By passing on these benefits, Maruti Suzuki aims to:
- Boost sales during the festive season.
- Strengthen its market share in India.
- Make entry-level and mid-range cars more affordable for families.
