Hot on the heels of its 5G brother, vivo has now announced the vivo V60 Lite 4G. It’s not a major overhaul, but it brings a few smart upgrades that may make it more appealing than the V50 Lite. Let’s walk through what’s new — and what’s not.

Display: Better Color, Same Brightness

The display gets one of the more visible upgrades. The 6.77-inch 1080p+ OLED panel now supports 10-bit colors, giving you smoother gradients and richer tones. But it’s a bit of a mixed bag — there’s no mention of HDR10+ support in the specs. The peak brightness stays the same, at 1,800 nits.

So you get better color fidelity, but not necessarily more dynamic range in HDR content. The size, resolution, and refresh rate (120 Hz) remain unchanged.

Cameras: Ultra-Wide Joins the Party

One of the biggest improvements is in the camera setup. The new model replaces the 2MP depth sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the rear. That alone brings it closer to its 5G sibling in terms of versatility.

The main camera is still a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor (1/1.95″), the same as before. The front selfie camera is also unchanged: 32MP (1/3.1″).

Because the chipset remains the same (we’ll cover that below), the 4G model does not add 4K video recording — a feature that was exclusive to the 5G version.

Internals: Same Chip, Less RAM

In a bit of a letdown, the processor remains the Snapdragon 685, which limits the phone to 1080p video capture and avoids big boosts in performance. There’s also 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM (less than what some high-end devices offer), but storage stays at 256GB of UFS 2.2.

Connectivity features also lag. There’s no clear mention of the Wi-Fi version (likely Wi-Fi 5/802.11ac). Bluetooth is version 5.0. The USB-C port is limited to USB 2.0 speeds. On the bright side, you do get NFC.

Battery & Charging: Still a Highlight

Here’s where things stay strong. The battery setup is unchanged — and for good reason. With 6,500 mAh, the phone delivers over 27 hours of video playback on one charge, according to vivo.

Charging remains super fast — 90W, backed by 24 layers of protection that vivo claims will keep battery health intact for at least 5 years.

Design & Build: Slimmer, Same Weight

The V60 Lite 4G is a bit slimmer than before, measuring 7.59 mm vs 7.8 mm previously. The weight stays nearly the same at 194 g. It also retains an IP65 rating for dust and water protection (dust tight + water jets).

Price & Launch: What You Get

The phone recently appeared on vivo’s Turkey website. The 8/256GB variant is priced at TRY 22,000 (around $530 / €450 / ₹47,000). That’s notably higher than the TRY 19,000 asked for the 8/256GB V50 Lite 4G. Yes, it’s steep — but localized pricing often reflects taxes, import duties, and other costs.

As a bonus, buyers in Turkey will receive a free pair of vivo TWS3e earbuds plus a gift box that includes a phone stand, thermos, and keychain.

Final Verdict: Worth the Upgrade?

If you already own a V50 Lite 4G, the jumps are subtle. The 10-bit display and 8MP ultra-wide camera are welcome additions, but they don’t dramatically change your everyday experience. The same chip, limited connectivity, and USB 2.0 port are clear compromises.
