OPPO F31 Series Hits India Today
OPPO is officially selling its new F31 Pro+ and F31 Pro phones in India starting today. The base OPPO F31 5G model will follow later. These phones were revealed earlier this month. They stress durability and long battery life.
When’s the Vanilla F31 Available?
Only the F31 Pro+ and F31 Pro go on sale today. The regular OPPO F31 5G will be available from September 27. So if you want the standard model, you’ll need to wait just a bit.
Price and Colour Options
The F31 Pro starts at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. There are higher RAM/storage options: 8GB/256GB at ₹28,999, and 12GB/256GB at ₹30,999. It comes in Desert Gold and Space Grey.
The F31 Pro+ begins at ₹32,999 for 8GB/256GB. The 12GB/256GB version costs ₹34,999. It is sold in Gemstone Blue, Himalayan White, and Festival Pink. The vanilla F31 5G starts at ₹22,999.
OPPO is offering a 10% instant discount when you buy with credit cards from major banks. The phones are being sold via OPPO’s official site, Flipkart, and Amazon.
Specs: Power, Screen, and Body
The F31 Pro+ uses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor built on a 4nm process. It has either 8GB or 12GB RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The display is a large 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The build is rugged. It includes a 360° Armour Body with triple IP ratings and meets MIL-STD durability.
The F31 Pro 5G runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chip. It also supports up to 12GB RAM with UFS 3.1 storage. The screen is slightly smaller. It is a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display, still with 120Hz refresh, and with high brightness levels. The body is similarly tough.
Battery, Cooling, and Cameras
Both phones carry a 7,000 mAh battery, which is large even by today’s standards. They both support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Cooling is managed by vapour-chamber systems. The Pro model also adds graphite layers for extra thermal control.
Each phone has a 50MP rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera. They run Android 15 with ColorOS 15. You also get good connectivity: 5G, robust network boosting features, stereo speakers, and in-display fingerprint sensors.
Weight and Feel
The F31 Pro+ weighs around 195 grams. That’s quite light considering its large battery and rugged build. The F31 Pro 5G is a bit lighter, around 190-191 grams.
Should You Buy It?
If you want long battery life, rugged durability, and a high refresh-rate screen, the OPPO F31 Pro and Pro+ deliver well. There are trade-offs. The huge battery adds weight. The rugged build may make the devices less sleek. Still, for users who value strength and endurance in a phone, these are excellent options.
OPPO’s F31 Pro series blends power, durability, and premium features. Priced aggressively and offering solid specs, these phones are likely to be strong contenders in the Indian market today.
