Lava is gearing up to launch its next big smartphone, the Lava Agni 4, tomorrow in India. With a price expected to stay below ₹30,000, the homegrown brand is clearly targeting mid-range buyers who want premium features without spending too much.
A Big Upgrade Over Agni 3 — With New VayuAI Features
The Agni 4 succeeds last year’s Agni 3 and will also showcase Lava’s next step in smartphone AI. The company’s in-house VayuAI is expected to offer smart summaries, content creation tools and powerful editing features. Lava is also adding a customisable Action Key, letting users set shortcuts for quick access.
Premium Display With 3,000-Nit Brightness
Lava Agni 4 will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It is expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate, and the brightness could reach up to 3,000 nits, making it one of the brightest screens in the segment.
The phone will sport a glass back and an aluminium frame, giving it a flagship-like build.
Powerful Hardware Under the Hood
The Agni 4 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Lava may offer up to:
- 12GB RAM
- 256GB storage
The device is expected to run stock Android 15 right out of the box. Lava is also including a VC liquid cooling system to keep temperatures in check during heavy use.
Battery, Charging and Cameras
While Lava hasn’t revealed the exact battery capacity yet, it is likely to include a 5,000mAh battery with up to 60W fast charging support.
For photos and videos, the Agni 4 is expected to offer:
- Dual rear cameras
- 50MP main camera
- Ultrawide sensor
- 50MP front camera — a standout feature for the segment
Colours, Availability and Price
Lava has confirmed two colour options:
- Lunar Mist
- Phantom Black
The phone will be sold exclusively on Amazon, where a dedicated microsite is already live.
With the expected sub-₹30,000 price, the Agni 4 could become a strong contender in India’s competitive mid-range market.
