Introduction
The Android flagship season is getting exciting, and Vivo is ready to join the action. After the launches of the OnePlus 15, OPPO Find X9 and iQOO 15, the spotlight now shifts to the Vivo X300 series. The company has confirmed that the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will launch in India on December 2nd at 12 PM. Both phones come with triple rear cameras tuned by Zeiss and an India-exclusive red colour option. The series first arrived in China and other global markets in October, marking the worldwide debut of OriginOS 6.

Launch Details and New Accessories
This year, Vivo is introducing something special for Indian buyers. The brand is bringing the Telephoto Extender Kit to India for the first time. The kit only works with the Vivo X300 Pro and is meant for enthusiasts who want a more professional telephoto experience. Vivo had announced the kit earlier with the X200 Ultra, but that phone never made it to India. This makes the X300 Pro the first Vivo device in the country to support such an accessory.

Company suggests that the Vivo X300 may start at Rs 74,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and reach Rs 80,999 for the 16GB+512GB version. The possible box price is Rs 89,999. The Telephoto Extender Kit could cost Rs 20,999. If these prices are right, the X300 series will directly compete with the OnePlus 15, which starts at Rs 72,999. This is a noticeable jump from last year’s Vivo X200 series that began at Rs 65,999. Component costs, especially storage, have climbed this year, and almost every flagship brand is increasing prices because of it. OPPO’s Find X9 series is also expected to start around Rs 75,000, with its official pricing set to be revealed on November 18th.

Battery, Hardware and Charging Upgrades
The Vivo X300 series brings practical improvements over the X200 lineup. Both phones now carry larger batteries. The Vivo X300 gets a 6,040mAh unit, while the X300 Pro moves up to a 6,510mAh battery. This is a healthy jump from the X200’s 5,800mAh and the X200 Pro’s 6,000mAh. However, competitors like the OnePlus 15 and OPPO Find X9 still offer bigger 7,000mAh units.

Wireless charging has also been upgraded from 30W to 40W, while wired charging remains at 90W. The phones are powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. With the updated V3+ and Pro Imaging VS1 chips, users can expect better efficiency and stronger computational photography. Vivo has refined its cameras too, using newer sensors and an upgraded telephoto system, improved further by the Telephoto Extender Kit. OriginOS 6 replaces Funtouch OS 15 and promises smoother animations and more polished performance.

The Photography Battle Heats Up
A big talking point is the rise of photography kits in flagship Android phones. Xiaomi brought this trend to India with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra after testing it with the 14 Ultra. OPPO is also launching the Find X9 series with a Hasselblad kit. Vivo had tested this idea with the X200 Ultra, though that model skipped the Indian market. Now, with Zeiss tuning and a dedicated kit, Vivo clearly wants to compete directly with Xiaomi’s Leica partnership and OPPO’s Hasselblad system.

Conclusion
For buyers choosing between the Vivo X300 series, the OnePlus 15 and the upcoming OPPO Find X9, the decision may come down to photography. Vivo offers a stronger camera setup, a powerful new chipset and the benefit of an optional photography kit. OnePlus focuses more on gaming and raw performance, while OPPO blends battery size and imaging. As accessories become a defining feature of premium phones, the real test will be how these devices perform in day-to-day usage and computational photography. Full reviews will reveal the complete picture soon.
