Moto Edge 70: Silent Entry, Sleek Design
The Moto Edge 70 is a rebranded global version of the Moto X70 Air, scheduled to launch in China tomorrow. The standout feature of this handset is its incredibly slim body — measuring under 6mm in thickness and weighing only 159 grams, making it one of Motorola’s thinnest smartphones ever.
Despite the lightweight design, the Edge 70 packs a 4,800mAh battery, supporting 68W wired and 15W wireless fast charging.
Display & Performance
The smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The device ships with Android 16 out of the box, offering users the latest software experience and improved performance optimization.
Camera Setup
In terms of optics, the Moto Edge 70 features a 50MP dual rear camera setup, designed to deliver sharp, detailed shots even in low light.
On the front, users get a 50MP selfie camera, perfect for high-resolution portraits and video calls.
Price, Variants & Offers
Motorola’s Edge 70 is priced at €800 (approx. ₹72,000) for the 12GB + 512GB configuration.
Buyers will also receive a free gift bundle, which includes one of the following:
- Moto Tag smart tracker
- Moto Buds Loop wireless earphones
- Moto Watch Fit smartwatch
The handset will be available in three Pantone-certified colors — Gadget Gray, Lilly Pad, and Bronze Green — emphasizing Motorola’s focus on premium design aesthetics.
Outlook
With its ultra-slim profile, flagship-grade performance, and stylish Pantone color options, the Moto Edge 70 is positioned to take on rivals like the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and OnePlus 13R in the mid-premium segment.
Motorola’s quiet yet strategic early listing hints at growing excitement for its November 5 launch, where more global availability details are expected.
