Kawasaki India has launched the 2026 Versys-X 300 in the domestic market, priced at ₹3.49 lakh (ex-showroom). While the adventure motorcycle remains mechanically identical to the outgoing version, it now sports a fresh dual-tone colour scheme and updated graphics that enhance its rugged appeal.
New Dual-Tone Colour Update
The 2026 Versys-X 300 now comes in a new Candy Lime Green and Metallic Flat Spark Black colour combination, featuring refreshed decals and design highlights. This new option joins the existing Metallic Ocean Blue and Pearl Robotic White shades already available in India.
Although there are no major hardware or performance updates, the new colourway gives the ADV a more modern and premium visual identity.
Engine and Performance
Under the skin, the Versys-X 300 continues with the proven 296cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, delivering 39 hp of power and 26 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and comes equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts and reduced lever effort.
This setup ensures the Versys-X 300 continues to deliver a balanced mix of performance and refinement—ideal for both city rides and long-distance touring.
Suspension, Brakes, and Hardware
Suspension duties are managed by a 41 mm telescopic front fork offering 130 mm of travel, while the rear features a monoshock with 148 mm travel, tuned for comfort and control over rough terrain.
The bike rides on wire-spoke wheels — a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear — shod with tube-type tyres for better off-road resilience. Braking is handled by single disc brakes on both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Features and Equipment
The 2026 Versys-X 300 continues to offer a semi-digital instrument cluster that combines an analog tachometer with a digital display, showing gear position, fuel level, odometer, and trip data.
Lighting duties are carried out by a halogen headlamp complemented by LED DRLs and an LED taillight, maintaining a simple yet functional setup.
Price, Rivals, and Availability
At ₹3.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2026 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 positions itself against popular entry-level ADVs such as the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
While the latest update is purely cosmetic, Kawasaki continues to appeal to riders seeking a reliable, twin-cylinder adventure tourer with solid highway manners and proven durability.
